God is aware of our need for answers, after all, He created us to be critical thinkers. So He provided them in His word. He even provided a teacher the Holy Spirit; this is just the beginning. For a true journey to self, you must spend time with the one that created you; this takes faith, trust, and belief in your Heavenly Father. I know that as human beings, we all want answers to the burning questions. I stop by to remind you that the only answer is Christ, and as simple as this sounds, it takes faith to serve Him. Romans 1:17 AMP states, “For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, ‘The Just and the upright shall live by faith.” Our power and strength can sustain us for some time but, it will fail with God. Isaiah 40:31 puts it this way “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Our ability to believe by faith that the one true living God, our heavenly father, neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalms 121 2-4). And realize there is nothing you can do that will separate you from His love because God is love (1John 4-8). As with all relationships, a commitment is required. And there are things you can do to ensure that you stay in His presence read his word daily & pray with an open heart to receive His will and before you know it, God has the pleasure and privilege of introducing you to yourself. I understand we want more than Christ is the answer, we want 5 or 10 steps to follow for the answers to all of life’s questions, yet the answer is simple. It is Christ. Walking with God through Christ takes acknowledgment and repentance of your life of sin. Many of us believe we can do it on our own. We cannot, We need Jesus, We need guidance. We all need to understand that all people will face trials and tribulations, but even as we face them, we are assured of the presence of God, our creator the great I am the beginning and end if we walk with God through His Son Jesus Christ, who is the only way. Not multiple ways, or the way that fits your lifestyle. God’s love for us is astonishing. His love cared so much it made a way out of no way; made sure we knew how to access it through Jesus Christ. Trust God and rely on Him for guidance in every season.
