Christ Will Meet You

Have you ever stood by the pool of grief waiting for someone to meet you there, and help with the business of healing and moving forward in your new normal? Understand that Jesus is sitting with you during this time, especially in the midnight hours when the feeling of loneliness is overwhelming. His presence does not leave you, or forsake you, He is closer in these times than ever before. It is during these times that the phone calls stop coming. And people move on to the day to day busyness of living their own life. In these seasons of life John 5:6 comes alive, when Jesus shows up change will always happen. The scriptures put it this way “When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, do you want to get well? The answer to the call of faith should be yes, I no longer want to hurt, I no longer want to feel this pain and I no longer want to feel this separation from God. Yes, I want to go home to my Father’s house and heal. So, return to Daddy, and experienced Luke 15: 20 “So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him: he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.”

The Lord will always meet you where you are, He will always hear the cry of His people as a call to action. Like the gentlemen laying by the pool His grace and mercy will change you. Aren’t we so thankful that God is love? And His love, and mercy is enough? Enough not to leave us in the condition that He met us in. Love will always elevate; it will cause you to understand where you are and set off an avalanche of change, in your life like you have never perceived before. The grace of God will only evoke change; if you allow your heart to be opened to the change that grace offers. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 reminds us that God even gives us the answers to these seasons. The scripture states “ I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before your life and death, blessing and cursing; choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give them.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for always giving us the gift of knowing and understanding who you are, thanks for being our comforter, and meeting us where we are, thank you for loving us enough to make us the best version of ourselves. AMEN
